I saw that @moonpope said that “religion is really hard to put into words”.

That’s stuck in my head and I’ve been noodling on it for a while. I think, it’s because people who “get it” don’t need you to explain it, and people who don’t, well, they will ask, then tell you to stop preaching at them (usually with an accompanying eye roll) when they realise you have an actual answer.

Basically, we don’t get chance to actually articulate it. So, we never think about it.

Anyway. Should be done in about two weeks. I think. 🤔

I am on the last chapter of first pass editing my current project. Needs a second pass and the first chapter may need a restructuring for world building reasons.

I also this I need to make one of my characters dialogue saltier. And I also need to make one character less likeable, oddly.

Had a nice time drawing again. Today it was getting comfy with art studio pro. The actual art wasn’t very good but I learned a lot about the software.

Honestly. I loathe that procreate is so much better for some things when it is so bad at so many things. Still getting good enough for it to matter is a thing, but I really like tools. I need to enjoy my tool and at the moment art studio pro is best for me.

Tomorrow I’m going to start a theme project. I’m thinking bees. 🐝 I enjoyed ducks but this coming week feels like a bee week.

I really like looking at my music listening stats I dont know why, it does not interfere with my music selection but it does make me go 'oh i like that way more than i thought i did!'

okay so first day of owning magic keyboard for ipad.

• It wont be able to live in there all the time as i like to draw and you cant draw with ipad attached to a magic keyboard
• The keyboard feel the same as my laptop keyboard which is great!
• The lack of an escape key is infuriating
• did not realise it was back-lit until after purchase. NICE!
• Does actually feel like magic when you fold it away and its suddenly a laptop!
• The little pass through charging port nice awesome because i can leave the case plugged in and pull it off for adventures without having to think about it.
• Track pad is too damned small!
• I LOVE the way it looks like its floating when its on there. very cool
• Too damned heavy!!!
• fingerprint attracting beast! - which is common for apple stuff... i dont care. tools often look 'grubby' its fine.
• docking the pad while its in the magic keyboard, so i suddenly have and extra screen feels magical too! its not. i mean, its fine. but yeah. looks dope!
• the lack of a pencil 'strap' in the keybaod is a devistating oversight on apples part!
• it doesnt sit quite flat. which seems a common problem for these. annoying but ignorable.
• I really like typing on it

Need to find time for drawing later too.

Got a right adventure on my docket today. Got to go to to Nuneaton, Swadlincote and then home. If all goes well, will get new (used) iPad keyboard and a bloody good dinner.
